New NCCW Leadership Program Introduced
Members asked and NCCW responded with the creation
and introduction of a new Leadership Training Development
(LTD) Program at the Columbus Convention. The new LTD
program focuses emphasis on building strong foundations,
leadership skills, membership and communication. Each
program will be presented in a practical, down-to-Earth
format for use in both Council and daily living. Instruction,
exercises, scriptural references and discussions will be
incorporated into each presentation. Jane Carter, KDCCW
Vice-President, and Suzanne Erpenbach, KDCCW Past
President, are members of the development team. Read
the article in the new November/December 2007 Catholic
Woman magazine and watch for other articles in future
issues for more program details and dates.
Individual Membership in the National Council of
Catholic Women
Our National Organization is inviting all members to become
more informed, more connected, and more educated in the
ways we live out our mission as a national organization.
HOW---by becoming an INDIVIDUAL MEMBER of NCCW.
Your parish affiliate already belongs to the National
Organization. Now you can belong as an individual as well!
As an individual member you will receive----mailed to your
door--- our bi-monthly magazine, Catholic Woman, the annual
Legislative Update, the annual report on our Partnership
Programs with Catholic Relief Services, as well as registration
materials for national meetings. For only $25 a year, you will
be counted as a Catholic woman who stands in solidarity with
your Catholic sisters all over our country---and through our
membership in WUCWO, around the world! You will read
about our impact on women and children around the globe
through the Works of Peace and Reconciliation in articles
written by Catholic Relief Services. You will deepen your
personal spirituality through articles on Scripture, the Saints
and our Blessed Mother. Your individual membership also
strengthens our National Organization by providing the
membership base necessary to receive grants to continue
our good works and develop new programs to meet the c
hanging needs of women and children in our communities,
our nation and the world. Put your name on the list of
Catholic women who stand in solidarity with all your sisters
in faith in action.
Contact your affiliate president or visit www.nccw.org to
sign up today. Join us! Be counted!
